NEMA’s Make It American™ Program offers a structured but flexible approach to help electrical manufacturers, distributors and suppliers navigate and comply with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions.
One year after the launch of NEMA’s Make It American™ program, this Power Hour will take stock of the program’s progress, impact, and momentum—and what’s ahead. NEMA provides key updates on ongoing government relations and advocacy efforts to secure broader recognition of the Make It American™ certification across federal and state agencies, particularly in the context of Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.
Objectives
Learn how NEMA is working to position the program as a credible, industry led solution that supports domestic manufacturing and supply chain transparency.
The webinar also features perspectives from two Make It American™ certified companies—Prysmian Group and TESCO—who share their firsthand experiences with the certification process. They discuss why they pursued certification, how they are leveraging it with customers and policymakers, and how the process was straightforward and manageable to complete.
